Established in
1834 as one of the oldest Episcopal churches in West
Tennessee, St. Thomas Somerville exists as an active, growing
congregation centered on knowing and sharing the love of Jesus
Christ. The present building was erected in 1858 and has been
in continuous used since that time. In response to God's love,
we are called to community, transformed by grace and sent to
serve. The life of the congregation centers on weekly worship,
Christian education, pastoral care and outreach to the greater
community in which it serves.
